Administrative Assistant
We’re excited to introduce Lorrinda Qutan Wholecheese (Wells), who recently joined NMS as a Camp Services Administrative Assistant. Though she’s only been with NMS since early July, Lorrinda has already embraced her role supporting our Camp Services Division — from Red Dog to the Slope and our Anchorage office staff.
Originally from Noorvik, Lorrinda spent her school years between Noorvik and Kotzebue, Anchorage, and later the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She’s deeply connected to her family and community — values that guide her work and life. Lorrinda and her husband, Robert, recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. Robert has worked with Alyeska Pipeline for 25 years, and together they have two children: Shelby, a junior at UAA, and Riley, a senior at South High School. Their household also includes BooBoo, a black cat (officially named Shadow) who keeps the family entertained.
When not working, Lorrinda enjoys spending time with family, cheering for the Dodgers, planning trips, and hosting epic family dinners. She’s especially looking forward to visiting the UK in October.
Lorrinda says what she enjoys most about her new role is being trusted to learn, grow, and contribute right away. “I love being busy, I love learning, and I just jump right in,” she shares. With a strong background in HR and executive office support, she’s eager to apply her skills and expand her knowledge of the company.
Looking ahead, Lorrinda sees herself firmly rooted in the NANA family of companies: “I’ve always wanted to be really good at my job, so for now I want to help as many people as I can and learn everything. In five years, I definitely see myself in the NANA family — I’ve already moved my 401k, haha.” Please join us in welcoming Lorrinda to the NMS team!
