Lisa “Aqpik” Lestenkof is a NANA shareholder and works as a Food Prep team member at the Alaska Airlines Lounge.
She grew up on St. George Island, AK where her father was from. Her mother was from Kobuk. Her younger brother still lives on St. George Island, while Lisa and her son currently reside in Anchorage.
Lisa joined NMS on May 11, 2026. She enjoys working in the kitchen at the Lounge and being part of a team environment. “The work keeps me active, engaged, and busy throughout the day.”
Lisa says, one of the most memorable parts of her job has been helping build the Alaska Airlines Lounge from the ground up. “Everything was new when we started, and it’s been rewarding to see how far we have come as a team and where we are today.”
In her free time, Lisa enjoys going for drives and watching the sunrise and sunset. She loves traveling and exploring new places. Her first trip outside of Alaska was in fifth grade, and that experience sparked her interest in travel.
