NMS was thrilled to learn that Alyeska Pipeline awarded employee Patty Miller: Best Baker on the Line when they announced the 2023 Atigun Awards.
Patty works at the Yukon River Response Base and is known for her warm hospitality, friendliness and the incredible effort she makes to ensure that all employees are welcomed and addressed by name.
Alyeska said this about her award:
“Patty has creatively baked and served some of the most delectable homemade dessert items on the Line, if not across Alaska. Her unwavering dedication brings smiles and joy to all around her. Patty has single-handedly prepared celebration spreads for notable Alyeska events and gatherings, from United Way Dessert Auctions to the Rampart Village Christmas celebration, from workers’ birthdays to seasonal holidays. Her delicious desserts designate her as an official fan favorite with TAPS crews up and down the Line. And her ability to make people feel recognized and special, uplift morale, and contribute her talents towards TAPS’ success, earn her the honor of first-ever Best Baker on the Line.”
