Temporary & Contract Employees
At NMS, we screen, hire and place for a variety of part-time, full-time, temporary, contract and long-term positions through traditional recruiting methods and specialized technology, providing a wide range of services to our clients with whom we contract.
Our clients can choose to have NMS act as their payroll and benefits administration departments. We track employee hours and leave accruals, assess and enact tax deposits and other payroll deductions, and manage the direct deposits of employee paychecks. We offer full-time personnel a competitive benefits package, including health benefits, short-term disability, 401(k) opportunities and an employee assistance program.
NMS performs all the necessary functions of a human resources department for the employees we contract with clients, including hiring paperwork and new-hire orientations, sexual harassment and safety training, I-9 compliance, record keeping, and performance evaluations. We do this all while staying current on changes in labor laws and regulations.
Screening & Skills Testing
We utilize computer-based testing programs to conduct pre-employment screenings and ensure our clients receive the most-qualified applicants. We conduct all necessary interviews, complete reference and criminal background checks, five-panel drug testing and physical assessments identified by job requirements. Only those candidates who meet and exceed all client criteria move on to the next phase of the hiring process.
