Scott, an American Culinary Federation (ACF) and Certified Executive Chef (CEC), has been a talent at NMS since 2008. Born and raised in Eagle River, AK, his roots are in this state.
A graduate of California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, he brought his talents back to Alaska, where he has managed some of the finest kitchens in Anchorage and owned a catering company that supported movie sets and events like Arctic Man.
Scott has been an integral member of the FFM team and managed accounts that have seen tremendous growth and longevity – like the University of Alaska Anchorage. Scott started there as the executive chef in 2008 and was promoted to general manager in 2011. He navigated the acquisition of the Alaska Airlines Center in 2013 and the contract renewal for all of the UAA contracts in 2017.
Most recently, he has been overseeing many of our K-12 accounts and frequently travels throughout Alaska, supporting our field managers. He’s recently taken a larger role supporting Airport Fleet Services, First Americans Museum in Oklahoma and Dine College in Tsaile, Arizona.
We are thrilled that he has accepted the promotion effective June 12. We are confident that he will excel in this new position. Join us in congratulating Scott on his well-deserved promotion!
