DIRECTOR, IMPROVEMENT, GROWTH & STRATEGY
Charley Burt has served as Director of Business Improvement, Growth and Strategy since November of 2018.
Starting with NMS in 2002 as Director of Finance for the NMS Hotels Division, Charley has held a variety of Accounting and Finance roles. Key expertise driving NMS success have included financial planning & analysis, operational diagnostics, forecasting, decision analysis, capital investment evaluation, client proposals, contract pricing, and portfolio analysis.
In his current position, Charley leads efforts to apply business & finance analysis in shaping corporate strategy and tactics focused on improved effectiveness of NMS offerings and growth in competitive market space.
Prior to coming to NMS, Charley was Controller for WAVE Wholesale Company.
In addition to being a licensed CPA, he is a Certified Management Accountant, Corporate Financial Planning Analyst and Certified Treasury Professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Lewis & Clark College, Master of Business Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and certificate in Business Analytics from Wharton School of Business.
Charley is a lifelong Alaskan and board member of the Alaska Chapter of Institute of Management Accountants.
