NMS has once again been honored with multiple National Safety Council (NSC) Occupational Excellence Achievement Awards for our exemplary safety practices.
The National Safety Council is a mission-based organization focused on eliminating the leading cause of preventable death and injury. The Occupational Excellence Achievement Awards are presented each year after careful evaluation of safety standards, procedures and statistics.
NSC recognized our safety performance at four significant sites including Alyeska Pipeline’s Valdez site, ConocoPhillips Alaska’s Alpine camp, Hilcorp’s Prudhoe Bay camps and Red Dog Mine. These remote sites require steadfast dedication to safety and we’re happy to set the standard as an integrated service provider.
Jeremy Wagner, Sr. Director of HSSE, expressed his pride in our collective accomplishment: “I’m really proud of our team for taking home these awards. We’ve worked hard to build a culture to catch incidents before they happen. We take care of our people and our clients – and work hard to provide an environment where they can get their job done safely.”
This award adds to a long list of safety driven achievements for NMS. This year we were also recognized as AOGA’s Safety Contractor of the Year for the third year in a row. We’re steadfast in our commitment to operate with an unrelenting focus on safety.
