We are excited to announce Tracy Haan has been promoted to Food Service Operations Manager at Greater Prudhoe Bay.
Tracy began his career with NMS at Prudhoe Bay as a baker 15 years ago and, over that time, has acquired extensive experience in food service management. His career grew from chef to Food Service Specialist/Quality Assurance and, most recently, as a Field Catering Supervisor. As a supervisor, he is responsible not only for the food services staff but also housekeeping, janitors/expeditors, and maintenance.
It’s no wonder that when asked, his previous supervisor, Anthonie Martini, said this about Haan, “Tracy works very hard and creates an incredible work environment for his staff and is always willing to jump in and help.”
Other roles he’s shown excellent work in are managing teamwork, communications, and operational efficiencies. His current manager, Todd Whited, said he appreciates that “Tracy has the best interest of the employees, NMS, and the clients in mind when making tough decisions.” He also says Tracy’s ability to maintain his composure and professionalism during tough times is a remarkable quality that makes Tracy such a great employee.
Tracy works a two and two rotations on the slope, and during his downtime, he’s all family man. He enjoys spending time with his three kids, Lucy, Sawyer, Kassie, and his wife, Sara. Like many Alaskans, he can often be found fishing Alaska’s waters or barbecuing in the summer.
Be sure to congratulate Tracy on his outstanding career with NMS and his well-deserved promotion!
