Our story—much like yours—spans thousands of years. For generations, the Iñupiat have existed in northern Alaska, and in 1972, under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, our parent company NANA Regional Corporation was formed. Shortly after, NMS was born out of a need for contract services supporting the Alaska Pipeline.
In the nearly 50 years since NMS has set the standard for providing essential support services to businesses throughout Alaska and across North America. Our client-centered approach and commitment to customer service allow us to adapt our programs to fit your needs, however, varied they may be.

We utilize tribal food purveyors in the area and carefully research recipes to incorporate traditional indigenous foods. NMS will work with tribes to include local items on the menu. Through Sodexo— one of our parent companies —we also harness the power of one of the world’s largest buying networks, a valuable resource we share with our tribal clients.
